Jen Duda, R.D. (Union and Secaucus, NJ)
Jennifer Duda graduated from University of Connecticut with a degree in Allied Health/ Dietetics. She is a member of the New Jersey Dietetic Association, American Dietetic Association, and Nutrition Entrepreneurs. Jennifer is passionate about helping people achieve their goals to live a better and healthier lifestyle. She educates patients on how to become successful before and after surgery, including guidance on healthy habits that will help patients battling diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and many other nutritionally related problems.
Jennifer provides nutritional counseling in the Union office on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Fridays.

Elisa Betar, R. D. (Union, NJ)
Elissa Betar graduated from James Madison University in Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in registered Dietetics. Additionally, she earned an M.S. in Health and Wellness Promotion from Virginia Tech University. Elissa joined the New Jersey Bariatric Center team in 2008 where she currently evaluates the nutritional needs of patients and focuses on disease prevention and health promotion. Individualized nutrition education plans are also developed to promote health as a disease prevention tool via weight management, goal setting and effective life choices. Her experience as a Dietitian also includes 5 years of clinical work while working at Overlook Hospital.
